I’m finally doing it!  A blog!

This is a big step for me as I’ve been comfortably hanging out behind the scenes of my label Sparkling Productions for the past 10 years.

Now that the technology is so accessible, and has been for a while, (I tend to take my time with these things) I’m ready to share my journey with you.

Sometimes I miss the good old days when things were simpler. 

I’m still holding on to certain aspects of the simple life.  i.e. I have a nokia phone from the early 2000’s.  The display no longer lights up so I have to text- old style texting, under the sunlight.

No texting on cloudy days! 

It’s a good practice in “less is more,” as it takes forever to text one sentence. The iphone is calling me, but I’m still holding on to my nokia until I just can’t hold on any longer!

So it looks like the theme of this first blog is simplicity.  I’m doing my best to keep things simple in this ever-increasingly complicated world.  Every day I tune into what is really important in life, and focus on those things.

I have a song on my upcoming album called “The Little Things.” It was inspired by all the simple and magical moments of my childhood.   I can’t wait to share it with you.
